BETTER WITH BEER SESSIONS

  • Tickets for Better with Beer 2024 are not on sale. Stay tuned for updates.​

  • A Better with Beer event cup will be given to you upon entry to the festival. Take this cup to the brewer of your choice and pick a delicious beverage – easy as that. Note, service of alcohol will only be provided in these cups

  • A selection of non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at Better with Beer, and free filtered water stations will be located throughout the venue.

  • You can use your credit card, octopus card and mobile payment wallets to pay for food, drink, merchandise and crafts in craft market. No cash will be accepted for purchase anywhere on site.

    • Better with Beer is all about having fun – but here’s some simple advice to make sure you stay safe.

    • Keep Hydrated - Drinks lots and lots of water. It's good for you! There are free filtered water stations available at the festival site.

    • Look After Your Friends - If you see someone who isn't feeling well, please contact a medic or security staff. They'll thank you later.

    • Pace Yourself - Alcohol can be fun at festivals, but please pace yourself.

    • Take A Break - Whether it's dancing the night away, or just sitting in the sun, be aware of high temperatures and take the occasional break.

  • Better with Beer will go ahead rain, wind or snow. So come prepared with your raincoat!   • Yes, fans with disabilities are welcome at Better with Beer and the majority of the site is flat and wheelchair friendly. Please note that only those who have mobility disabilities may use mobility devices. Crutches, wheelchairs and powered wheelchairs are allowed for use by people with mobility disabilities.

  • Medical tents will be located at the venue, and will be clearly marked and visible from afar. Trained EMTs will be on-hand to address any and all medical incidents, and please don’t be afraid to stop by a medical tent – even if you just have a question. Additionally, if you see anyone at the festival who appears to be in need of medical assistance, please inform a member of our medical or security team, or even help him/her find their way to the medical tent(s).

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY & ATTENDANCE 

    • Underage drinking is not permitted at the event

    • Friday night and Saturday night sessions are strictly over 18s only. ID will be check on entry and no refunds will be given if you are under the age of 18 years and trying to enter either of the night sessions.

    • Attendees under 18 years are permitted to attend the Saturday afternoon session:

      1. Persons aged 5 years and younger are free to enter and do not require a ticket

      2. All attendees under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is over 18 years and has a valid ticket

      3. Attendees over 5 years require a valid ticket for entry

    • All of your beer

    • Beer related beverages

    • Entry to the event for your selected session time(s), including access to music and entertainment areas

    • Better with Beer event cup – service of alcohol will only be provided in these cups

  • The following items are not included in your ticket entitlement, but will be available for purchase at the festival:

    • Food

    • Cocktails, spirits, wine and soft-drinks

    • Merchandise

  • You must bring your ticket and photo ID, and the name on the ID must match the name on the ticket. Failure to bring ID could significantly slow your entry.

  • No. Once you leave the venue you cannot be readmitted. If you choose to leave the venue during a session, please understand that you will not be permitted re-entry unless you purchase a new ticket.

    • You will be refused entry if you attempt to bring alcohol or food into the venue.

    • Alcohol will not be served to people under 18 years.

    • Alcohol will not be served to anyone who is intoxicated.

    • Once you leave the venue you cannot be readmitted. If you choose to leave the venue during a session, please understand that you will not be permitted re-entry unless you purchase a new ticket.

    • Bars will close promptly at the end of each session.

    • Attendees must vacate the venue by 4:30 pm (afternoon sessions) and 10:30 pm (evening sessions).

    • For beer and beer related products with 8% or higher ABV, only 100ml (tasting pour) and 150ml (half pour) pours will be available.

    • Bars reserve the right to only provide tasting pours for certain beverages (for example any special, one-off, small-batch, limited beers).

    • Free water will be available.

    • Low and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

    • Anyone deemed intoxicated will be asked to leave Better with Beer at any time during the event.

    • There is zero tolerance for unruly or aggressive behaviour.

    • Smoking and vaping is only permitted in designated smoking locations.

  • To ensure you have a great time, we recommend bringing the following items with you:

    • Photo ID (e.g. Hong Kong ID card)

    • Better with Beer ticket

    • Sunscreen

    • Hat

    • Sunglasses

    • Comfortable shoes

    • Raincoat

    • Non-professional film or digital camera

  • Attendees and their belongings are subject to search upon each entry to the festival. Anyone that refuses to comply with the search policy will be refused entry into the event.

    The following items are prohibited at Better with Beer – Anyone who breaks these rules can be refused entry or be asked to leave the site with no refund:

    • no outside food & beverages

    • no ticket exchanges

    • no unaccompanied children – note that people under the age of 18 years are only permitted to attend the Saturday Afternoon session and be accompanied by an adult

    • no illegal drugs or substances of any kind - anyone seen consuming or thought to be in possession of illegal substances will be handed over to the police

    • no professional cameras/audio recording devices

    • no camera accessories, including selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, go pro mounts and attachments, detachable lenses or other commercial equipment

    • no chains/chain wallets

    • no firearms, explosives or weapons of any kind (including pocket knives, pepper spray, fireworks, etc)

    • no flags

    • no LED boards

    • no chairs of any kind

    • no drones

    • no umbrellas

    • no musical instruments (especially drums)

    • no radios or walkie-talkies

    • no laser pointers

    • no skateboards, scooters, bicycles, wagons, carts or any personal motorized vehicles, except mobility wheelchairs

    • no pets (except for service animals)

    • no glass bottles or containers

    • unauthorised/ unlicensed vendors are not allowed. No unauthorised solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, giveaways, samples, etc.

  • Please note that Better with Beer’s official photographers and videographers will be on the festival site. By attending the festival, you consent to being photographed and/or filmed. Better with Beer shall reserve the rights to use, copy, distribute, publish, republish print, display, transmit, create derivative works containing your image, portrait, photograph, footage, voice and/or likeness, without compensation or notification to, or additional consent by you.
